[Review] Era of Samurai: Code of Love: Shinsaku Takasugi - Season 1 Main Story

The MC of the game simply faints too much at the beginning?? LOL.
Luckily, she picked herself up and made herself useful. Else I might not have liked this as much?

Plot-wise, having read the other 5 shinsengumi stories, the pieces fall to place now.
We have the view of the Choshu, and why they are doing what they are doing for their cause.
I'd agree with what the Shinsengumi said about their methods being extreme.

Playing this made my heart so ಡ_ಡ, because I love my Shinsengumi guys.
Especially Hijikata near the end. Omg. ಡ_ಡ

That said, all in all, I still rather enjoyed this route!
I feel like things could have been resolved in a more peaceful manner though.
But then again, I think things that happened in that era don't resolve that easily.

[Review] Era of Samurai: Code of Love: Isami Kondo - Season 1 Main Story

Kondo is not the type I'd usually pursue in otome games. That said, since I loved the Shinsengumi's routes that came out so far, I thought I would give his route a try.

His route felt flatter? MC wasn't as much help in being a doctor from the start - as in what happened in the other routes.

I guess there was a part in the main plot that I didn't really like?
Made me think like, if the MC wasn't there, how would he have dealt with the situation then?
Would he handle the situation differently, had he not sort of fallen for the MC?
It felt, to me, that it was handled too lightly??

I think I just didn't like the premise once I've reached that part. It's like a matter of morals to me already.

I would recommend playing the Love End first, then the Fate End.
Fate End, as usual, felt like the true end.

This is how I got to the 2 endings.
Got a little help by referring to this Japanese walkthrough, though most of it was my own.
The fate end was easier to get?

This is my walkthrough for both ends!
There may be other ways to get them though.
I liked the Fate ending more. φ(*⌒▽⌒)ノ

[Review] Era of Samurai: Code of Love: Sanosuke Harada - Season 1 Main Story

Sanosuke Harada is a man of few words. He shows his convictions through his actions rather than words.

Tbqh, his route is the one that makes me most curious about his POV, lol. Especially the beginning chapters.

I loved the late night talks between the MC and Harada. That was the start of Harada gradually opening up to the MC. ❀.(*´◡`*)❀.

I recommend going through the Love End first, then the Fate End. My heart completely melted in his Fate End. ⁽(◍˃̵͈̑ᴗ˂̵͈̑) Wasn't expecting that from Harada for his Fate End, since the Love End one felt like some kind of elementary school love. LOL.

As much as IMO, Harada's route did not make me feel that much sadness as like Hijikata and Okita (or should I say more of bittersweet?), I still enjoyed this route a lot. He is so endearing when he smiles (which is rare), and blushes (this is like, super rare).

This walkthrough is what I chose for the 2 ends.
Basically, the meter goes left and right. LOL. Especially for the Love End.
Am quite amazed I managed to get to both walkthroughs by myself, haha.
